Annotation: Simultaneous interpretation from Chinese into Russian represents one of the most complex types of translation activity. This is due to significant differences between the Chinese and Russian languages at the phonetic, grammatical, lexical, and pragmatic levels, as well as cultural and mental characteristics of communication. The article examines the main problems of simultaneous interpretation from Chinese into Russian and proposes possible ways to overcome them.
