Annotation: Generative AI possesses many superior functions, such as AI image generation, AI video generation, AI customization of personalized learning resources, and AI knowledge integration, which can be applied in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSOL). From the perspective of teaching practice at the Confucius Institute of Jianhua University of Applied Sciences and Technology, these functions enable teachers to improve teaching efficiency and enrich teaching materials with the help of AI. For students, this allows them to customize their own learning needs and obtain targeted guidance. We should seize the opportunity of AI development and respond to the challenges of new technologies in the new era.
