Annotation: This article analyzes the stages of formation and development of family policy in Uzbekistan, measures taken by the state to support the family, and new mechanisms to protect children from violence. In particular, the introduction of a professional family institution, a system of working with children in need of social protection, and strategic directions aimed at increasing family well-being are highlighted. The results of the study show that strengthening the family institution is an important factor in the stability of society.
