Annotation: This article analyzes the role and significance of the education system in ensuring gender equality in Uzbekistan. The research focuses on examining educational policies, legal reforms, and institutional mechanisms implemented within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5). The article highlights the integration of gender equality principles in general secondary, specialized secondary, and higher education, as well as equal educational opportunities for women and the role of education in increasing their social activity. It also analyzes issues such as reducing gender stereotypes through education and the transformation of societal attitudes under current conditions.
