Annotation: The article analyzes the verbal and nonverbal types of communication characteristic of Uzbek and Chinese cultures, based on a scientific-linguistic approach. The actions, words, gestures, and facial expressions used by representatives of each culture are presented in terms of their semantic meaning, social function, as well as cultural and historical background.
