Annotation: This article analyzes the translations of Utkir Khoshimov’s works into various languages and their distinctive features. It highlights the issues of conveying cultural realia and non-equivalent vocabulary when translating the writer’s works, which are rich in national color. Furthermore, a scholarly comparison is made of the translations of such well-known works as “Dunyoning ishlari” (“Earthly Affairs”), “Nur borki, soya bor” (“Where There Is Light, There Is Shadow”), and “Ikki eshik orasi” (“Between Two Doors”) into Russian, English, Turkish, and Chinese.
