Annotation: This article examines the problem of personal identity crisis in adolescence and the influence of gender equality and social factors on its development. The study analyzes psychological difficulties experienced by adolescents while searching for self-identity, including emotional instability and internal conflicts. Special attention is given to the role of gender stereotypes, family environment, and social interactions in shaping personal identity. The findings indicate that a socially supportive and gender-equal environment plays a crucial role in adolescents’ psychological well-being and identity formation. The results may be applied in educational practice and psychological counseling.
