Annotation: This article scientifically analyzes the formation and development of the Arba'in (forty hadith) writing tradition in Central Asia and the adjacent Khorasan region. It highlights the development of the Arba'in genre inextricably linked with the science of hadith, mystical-enlightenment thought, and Persian and Turkic literature. It also reveals the role and contribution of thinkers such as Abu Abdurahman as-Sulami, as-Sam'ani, Abdurahman Jami, and Alisher Navoi in this tradition. The article analyzes the scientific, moral, mystical, and artistic characteristics of the Arba'in genre, and shows its importance in the scientific and cultural history of Central Asia.
