Annotation: To ensure that men and women participate in the socio-political life of the new Uzbekistan on the basis of equal rights and opportunities, numerous practical measures are being taken to implement reforms and develop national gender statistics. However, one of the main obstacles to achieving gender equality is the situation with domestic violence. The causes of this factor, which hinders the development of society and the country, and its negative impact on the mental well-being of families are pressing issues in modern psychology. This article will examine these issues.
