Annotation: This article analyzes the issue of forming a culture of gender equality in the family as one of the most pressing issues in the development of today's society. The family is considered as a key factor in achieving gender equality, and the issues of eliminating gender stereotypes and improving the culture of equality in the family through mutual respect, trust and cooperation between father and mother are considered. This highlights the role and importance of the family for achieving sustainable development of society. The family is the first social school of a person, where children learn roles, responsibilities and the culture of relationships in society. Therefore, it is emphasized that establishing a culture of gender equality in the family is an important factor determining the future not only of the individual, but also of the entire society.
