Annotation: This article analyzes the psychological foundations of gender stereotypes within the family and their impact on child upbringing and the development of social consciousness. The study emphasizes the family’s role as a primary socialization agent and examines how parental gender attitudes shape children’s identity, emotional development, and perception of social roles. The paper highlights that rigid gender stereotypes may limit personal potential, while gender-sensitive parenting contributes to emotional intelligence, social adaptation, and equality-oriented thinking. Promoting balanced gender perceptions in family education is considered essential for fostering a healthy and inclusive society.
