Annotation: This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of gender equality, family psychology, and the emergence of gender stereotypes, as well as their impact on child upbringing and the development of children’s social consciousness. The study highlights the influence of parental educational attitudes, traditional gender roles, and stereotypical approaches on a child’s social adaptation within the family and society, personal development, and self-awareness.The article examines, through illustrative examples, incorrect gender-stereotypical approaches that have been preserved for a long time within the Uzbek mentality and that consciously and unconsciously affect child psychology, social activity in society, and the free development of the child’s personality.Furthermore, the importance of gender equality in child upbringing under the conditions of modern life is theoretically substantiated.
