Annotation: The article analyzes the role of the People’s Republic of China in the post-pandemic world and its place in international relations. It highlights the significance of two major political events in China — the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference — and their global implications. Based on the views of Chinese and foreign experts, the study examines China’s policies in economic recovery, relations with the United States, globalization, cooperation, and security. The author concludes that China’s growing influence is reflected in its international initiatives, regional partnerships, and collaboration with global organizations.
