Annotation: This article examines the history and stages of development of traditional Chinese Guohua painting. In particular, the question of the relationship between Chinese and Western painting. Painting is known as a type of visual art, which consists in the transmission of visual images by applying paints to a hard or flexible surface, belongs to an artistic culture that is inextricably linked with all aspects of human life and with all spheres of society. In this regard, there is a need to clarify the point of contact between cultural studies and linguistics.
