Annotation: This article examines the formation of Jalaluddin Rumi's worldview. Sufism is one of the most complex and profound spiritual and philosophical movements in the history of Islamic thought, the first forms of which began to take shape in the 8th-9th centuries, and this process was especially active in Khorasan, Basra, and Baghdad. Although the mystical thought that developed during this period was based on the Quran and Hadith, it also reflected a synthesis of elements from Greek philosophy, Zoroastrianism, the Hindu Vedas, and Christian asceticism. Early medieval Sufi thought was mainly guided by the ideas of purification of the heart, asceticism, understanding of inner truth, and approaching the Creator through personal experience, and the influence of these basic paradigms on the worldview of Jalaluddin Rumi was incomparable. The ideas of unity, divine love, and inner perception put forward in Sufism find their most subtle expression in Rumi's thought. In his views, existence is the manifestation of the only truth, and man is a seeker on the path to understanding this truth. For Rumi, life is the soul's journey towards perfection, and death is not a separation, but a return to the original source. Influenced by his mystical heritage, he interprets the idea of purifying the soul, awakening the heart, and uniting with the Truth through love at a highly philosophical level.
