Annotation: This article primarily presents information on the impact of social networks on adolescents’ academic activities and the psychological mechanisms underlying this influence. Within the scope of the topic, an analysis of scientific literature is conducted, the degree to which the problem has been studied in previous research is examined, its practical significance is highlighted, and the factors contributing to the emergence of procrastination are analyzed. In addition, the article addresses the manifestation of social networks in the context of adolescents’ gender differences, issues related to strengthening psychological well-being, and the characteristics of procrastination. Psychological recommendations for the prevention of procrastination among adolescents resulting from the use of social networks are also provided.
