Annotation: This article examines the role and significance of gender equality in the process of social adaptation in society. Gender equality is analyzed as an important factor that ensures an individual’s adaptation to society, the acquisition of social roles, and psychological stability. In addition, the importance of state policies aimed at supporting gender equality in the process of social adaptation is highlighted.
