Annotation: Work–family conflict arising from the inability to maintain a balance between work and family responsibilities is primarily explained by the fact that work-related obligations limit the time and attention allocated to roles within the household. This issue is closely linked to socially constructed gender roles specific to a given society, where traditional norms often assign domestic and caregiving responsibilities to women. As a result, women face difficulties in entering and remaining in the labor market. This situation becomes particularly pronounced under conditions of low income and educational attainment. Therefore, policies aimed at reconciling work and family life, as well as promoting gender equality, play a crucial role in increasing women’s participation in the labor market.
