Annotation: This article analyzes Ibn Miskawayh's ethical views, in particular, the classification of virtues and the theory of "as-saadat" (happiness). The thinker's work Tahzib al-Akhlaq was studied as the main source in the study. As a result, the role of ethical qualities in human perfection and the main factors for achieving happiness were highlighted. Also, the similarities of these views with Aristotle's philosophy were shown.
