Annotation: The article examines parents’ gender attitudes as a key factor in the socialization of the younger generation in the context of transforming public consciousness. The family is analyzed as the primary institution where basic perceptions of gender roles, values, and social behavior patterns are formed. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical research, the influence of traditional and egalitarian parental attitudes on children’s gender identity and social adaptation is identified. The study substantiates the need for a comprehensive approach to fostering a culture of gender equality through parental psychological education and the development of gender-sensitive parenting practices.
