Annotation: This article analyzes the regulatory and legal foundations of ensuring gender equality and examines their interaction with family values. Based on international and national legal documents, the essence and significance of the concept of gender equality are revealed. The study highlights the legal mechanisms for implementing gender policy in Uzbekistan, their impact on family relations, and their role in maintaining social stability. In addition, the article discusses the challenges encountered in the implementation of gender equality and explores possible ways to address them.
