Annotation: This article analyzes the role of national-cultural characteristics in implementing gender equality strategies in Central Asian states. The research demonstrates the impact of gender stereotypes on education and family values. The authorʼs approach substantiates the need for balance between universal standards and national context. A regional model based on transformative approach is proposed.
