Annotation: This article examines the mechanisms of gender stereotype formation through the lenses of family upbringing, educational practices, and social cognition. The study provides a comparative analysis of the perspectives of local scholars (Karimova, Rasulova) and the experience of CIS countries (Kletsina, Rean). The findings indicate that stereotypes possess a transgenerational character and are reinforced through sex-typing in education and traditional media narratives. The paper argues for the necessity of integrating cognitive de-stereotyping and psychological interventions to foster a culture of gender equality within the framework of the "Uzbekistan — 2030" strategy.
