Annotation: This article presents a philological analysis of the conceptualization of gender relations in the works of Alisher Navai, considering the relevance of medieval Eastern spiritual and literary heritage in the context of global humanities research. The methodological basis of the study is the integrative interaction of gender studies, Sufism, and textology. By examining the semantic-symbolic field of female images in the “Khamsa” poems, as well as the role of biographies of female saints in the treatise “Nasoim ul-muhabbat” in shaping the discourse of gender equality, the author proves Alisher Navai's innovative approach — perceiving the female personality as a spiritual guide (“mohira”) and an epistemological subject. The results demonstrate that Navoi's gender concept does not deny sexual binarity but transcends it through the category of spiritual perfection.
Keywords: Alisher Navai, Sufism, gender concept, spiritual equality, philological analysis, “Khamsa”, female images, textology, gender discourse.
