Annotation: This article analyzes the issue of forming a culture of gender equality within the family in the context of a harmonious combination of national traditions and modern democratic values. The significance of the family as a key institution for personality socialization and the transmission of gender norms is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to the role of the higher education system and university instructors in shaping the gender culture of student youth. Pedagogical, socio-cultural, and innovative approaches to developing a gender-sensitive educational environment are examined, which contribute to the education of socially responsible specialists and the sustainable development of society.
