Author: Бутаева, Согдиана; Иззетова, Э.М.

Annotation: This article examines the aesthetic categories of Japanese culture within the context of philosophical discourse. The Japanese aesthetic tradition develops a different concept of beauty, linked to a specific perception of the world and peculiarities of thought. Within Japanese philosophical thought, beauty serves as the fundamental foundation through which aesthetic and cultural experience is understood. Particular attention is paid to categories such as mono-no-aware, wabi-sabi, and yugen, as well as the phenomenon of kintsugi, which reflect the characteristic Japanese cultural perception of the transience, simplicity, and hidden depth of phenomena. An examination of these categories allows us to identify the specific nature of an aesthetic worldview, in which the experience of beauty is closely linked to a sense of the transience of time, nature, and the human inner state as a means of sensory understanding of the world.

Keywords: aesthetic categories, "bi", "kokoro", "magokokoro", "mono-no-aware", "yugen", "wabi-sabi", "kintsugi", fleetingness, aesthetic experience, worldview, contemplation, sensory comprehension.
