Annotation: This article analyzes the processes of the formation and institutionalization of theocratic authority in the evolution of the political system of Iran from political-legal and historical perspectives. The study also examines the theoretical foundations of the system of governance established after the Iranian Islamic Revolution, the role and powers of religious-political institutions within the structure of state authority, and the significance of the concept of “Velayat-e Faqih” in public administration.
