Annotation: This article examines the socio-psychological nature of domestic violence, with a particular focus on victim behavior among women in family relationships. It explores the types of domestic violence (physical, psychological, sexual, and economic), the underlying causes, and its long-term negative impact on women's mental health. The victimological aspects of the issue are analyzed within the context of dysfunctional family relationships. The article substantiates the need for violence prevention measures, as well as psychological rehabilitation and support programs for affected women.
