Annotation: This article analyzes the philosophical and moral picture of the world based on the teachings of the Avesta. It reveals the dualistic views of good and evil, inherent in ancient Iranian thought, the moral choice of man, the spiritual essence of being and beings. The Avesta also highlights the place of man in the cosmic order, his contribution to the harmony of the universe through the choice of goodness. The article considers the issues of moral perfection based on the main ideas of Zoroastrianism - the principle of "Good thought, good word, good deed". As a result, the Avesta teachings are interpreted not only as a religious, but also as a deep philosophical and moral system.
