Annotation: This article analyzes the US policy on human rights and gender equality in the countries of Central Asia. It examines the approaches, programs, and their impact in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan based on reports from the US government and international organizations. The article also attempts to draw preliminary conclusions by comparing the differences in approaches of US administrations — Democrats and Republicans — and the gender equality indicators in the region according to the WEF Global Gender Gap Report 2025.
