Annotation: This paper analyzes natural spoken language corpora to explore the functions and pragmatic features of "就是" (jiùshì) as a discourse marker in spoken Chinese. The study finds that "就是" has multiple functions in spoken language, including repetition and confirmation, emphasis, topic shifting, and explanation. Through transcription and analysis of dialogue content, the paper reveals the important role of "就是" in enhancing linguistic coherence and expressing the speaker's intention and emotional attitude. Furthermore, this paper explores the dynamic changes of the discourse marker "就是" in natural spoken language and its context-dependent nature, providing a new perspective and empirical support for theoretical research on discourse markers.
